MeshWe has announced the Bluefin (http://meshwe.com/products.html), a device that turns your "Apple Wireless Keyboard and Magic Trackpad" into the ultimate wireless control device for you Mac." It connects the two Apple peripherals so you can, for example, use your keyboard and trackpad on your lap.

Once connected, it holds your device securely in place while still allowing you to use the "press to click" function of the Magic Trackpad. Its design lets you place the trackpad to the right or left of the keyboard, accommodating both right- and left-handed users.

The Bluefin -- which has pricing starting at US$34.95 -- lets you zoom, swipe and gesture from any position. The folks at MeshWe say it's designed to takes the pain out of connected computing by giving you greater ergonomic control over your computing experience.

Bluefin keeps the computer controls you need within a single unit and accommodates both left and right hand users. It works alongside your Apple Magic Mouse and Magic TrackPad. You can use your Magic Mouse for finer cursor control in programs like Photoshop and your Magic Trackpad for better gesture based control over zooming, swiping and scrolling.

Bluefin comers in Apple white, metallic silver, burl wood and carbon fiber flavors.
