(If there is a MacWorld next year. See you at CES?)
Fact: I've never been in snow more than a few inches deep. When I'm in the states I'm usually in the South East and I grew up in pretty hot climates when I was overseas.
February is my first trip snowboarding and the cost of rentals is sky high so purchasing made a lot more sense. Here's the gear I selected, with the help of my friend Chris.
The Snowboard is the Nitro Shadow Sunburst board, bindings are Ride LX, goggles are DragonDX, and gloves are Burton Gore-Tex mitts.
Unfortunately, there's still the clothing stuff to buy and boots. I'm going to wait until I can try that stuff on in person, even if it means I have to pay more.
Anyways, if you're in the market for gear its a good time to buy. Most places are having a big winter clearance. I bought my Stuff from The House.
Now all I need is a way to make it custom for MacMod!

I haven't had any hands on with the Palm Pre, but I have been checkig out the videos and photos coming out of CES. There's not much to see on Palm.com right now so the best bet so far has been Engadget. My take is that this is the first serious iPhone competitor (way better than the Storm). I was very unsure they could pull off a turn-around, but I think the Pre is a very solid start!

You just changed my life :)
