Apple's web page for the XServe RAID has been replaced by the Promise RAID. It appears as if Apple will be pulling out of the hardware of storage and be concetrating on the software side of server storage. The drop of the XServe RAID comes with the announcement of XSan 2, the Apple SAN solution.
While the XSan 2 boast collaboration between departments and editors, apparently Apple needs to get some also. The video describing how useful XSan 2 is talks about the XServeRAID as the hardware solution for server storage. What's good for the goose is good for the gander, aye guys?

Here's Apple KB document on all the updates stuffed into 10.5.2. The list is long, but it is nice to know what the update is doing.

While search for any hacks 10.5.2 might have unleashed I came across this timeline of the system preferences. Screen shots from System 3 to Leopard. Nearly 25 years of system preferences and a world of difference.
System Preferences, oh how you have changed.

Ok, just got my copy of Leopard in the mail. I saw some of the other shots around the net and thought they looked big. I was really surprised how small the package was when I got it. Nontheless, it was def up to par with Apple's quality. I do love the hologram behind the "X". I have snapped a couple shots for your enjoyment. Click the read link.
