An innovative iPod case that isn't junk?! Who'da thunk?! From the press release: "The DLO Jam Jacket with cord management is a superior, no-slip silicone case for your 30GB iPod with video. High-quality, lint-free silicone adds a strong, gripable layer of protection to your iPod, plus cord management for your headphones. Tired of dealing with tangled cords and dangling earbuds? The integrated Headphone Management System on the back of the Jam Jacket allows you to neatly wrap your headphone cord behind your iPod, and safely stow your iPod earbuds while not in use.
When it's time to jam, unwind only as much as you need – the handy side-notches will hold the cord in place, keeping the excess cable wrapped and out of your way. Jam Jacket protects your iPod's body while allowing easy access to the hold switch and headphone jack. Plus, a thin layer of silicone with embossed click-wheel icons provides play-through access for seemless navigation of your iPod content. The Jam Jacket also gives you full access to the iPod dock connector, so you can use your favorite charger or car accessory while keeping your tunes protected.
Go ahead, slip the Jam Jacket onto your 30GB iPod with video for superior protection and headphone management in one unique case."

It seems like everybody is talking about the AppleTV. The AppleTV sounds great, but has everybody forgotten about the lowly Mac mini? Pshhh... before the AppleTV, we actually had to make our own media center, up hill, both ways in the snow--and we had to use a Mac mini to boot. Sure, you can have your fancy AppleTV, but when it comes down to it, an old mini can do almost just as much, if not more. Howtogeek.com agrees with us and has given you loyal mac-mini-media fans a nice guide to get you started.

Wouldn't it be nice to have a 2 teraflop processor (or two) in your Mac in say... oh... a decade? Or even in a Mac mini (gen 25). Maybe less? Yeah. I thought so. A first-run of the processor reached 1 teraflop and used 46 watts. A second test reached 1.5 teraflops on 93.98 watts. Then, a final run achieved 2 teraflops, utilizing 191.79 watts. Check out what Intel is up to.

Anybody who uses Safari knows it's sloooow... and sometimes slower than that. Most of us have opted for open sourced browsers such as Firefox or Camino. Yet, if you're like me and use multiple Macs, you value your .Mac syncing services. Or, perhaps you just like Safari. Whatever reason, I'm sure you want it speeded up. Macfixit.com offers several ways to stop that stupid turning wheel with just a few tweeks.
