Ever wonder what you can do with packages in OS X? Macosxtips.co.uk has an excellent article on what you can do with them. Packages are great because they make it very easy to tinker with the way applications work. Here are a few tricks that are done using the Finder's "Show Package Contents" command. Change the unexpectedly quit message to something more light-hearted, customize the appearance of System Preferences, modify the iCal alarm clock message and more.
