Apple Reporter holds Mac modding contest
Written by Jacob Head

From the press release: "Apple Reporter is having our first contest! If you are like myself and my friends, you have not left your MacBook, iMac, MacBook Pro or Mac Mini nekkid. You have given it a new look that is more “you” by applying skinz, paint, tattoos, decals, plastic covers and more. Apple Reporter wants to see your mods!

The inspiration for this contest is that Apple Reporter is in the process of modding its own MacBook 13.3″. Once all the custom designs and skinz are on I’ll post a picture of my newly personalized laptop here. Meanwhile, take a look at one example from Flickr. I don’t know who this person is, but they did a fantastic job modding their Mac:

Contest Now allowing All mac models
Thanks for the heads up that you'd like all Macs in. Since I have received many queries on the rules, etc but no "official" entries yet - I opened it up to any Mac. :) This is my first contest for the Apple Reporter. Hopefully if all goes well I can do more contests with bigger prizes :)
