Disabling the light on the Caps Lock key...

This mod was inspired by a question from 'Hazmat.' He was in dire need to stop the CAPS LOCK key from lighting up. Mainly because he changed it to a control key...

First off, many of you may have noticed that this changed... That is because something (dk what) deleted everything.

To remove the caps lock key, start by aquireing; A pen knife, a Powerbook G4 Ti, and a bit of courage....

Take your pen knife and wedge it under the FRONT of the caps lock key. Lift GENTALY it will make a pop sound (like when you break a peice of plastic...) don't worrie it does not break. Lift the detached part of the key up, it should still be on some hing like items. Most likely you will not need to take it off of these. It won't hurt if you do, but it is just as easy not to.

Now there should be a white thing in the center of your caps lock's holder. Press it. now your caps lock light should light up. On my computer there is a small black cercle around this light, you want to put Gaffers tape on here (electrical tape will work, but not nearly as dark nor strong.)  Once you have finished taping the light over, take your key and set it where it should go.

Congratulations you just broke your $3000 computer, now arnt you proud! well no im just kidding, press down hard on the button and it should click back into position. If it turns out lop sided, keep pressing it should center itself. Thats it! Your done, you now have a taped over light in your computer, dosent your heart just leap for joy? Well it might... but I doubt it.

I am sorry if this breaks your computer, I have removed my capslock key 4 times, and so far it is still in perfect working condition. Finaly because i like to add a heck load of junk on to this message, as long as you remove the tape, this probally will not void your war n' tea.

Ps. I will ad pic's asap
