 The guys over at appletvhacks.net have finally figured out how to patch the USB package on the Apple TV to support external hard drives. This is truly great news since the largest drive you can get on the Apple TV is currently limited at 160GB, not quite enough storage for the heavy movie buff.
It will require a few hacks to your Apple TV, but its worth it in my opinion if you are suffering from lack of storage. So, surf on over to the appletvhacks site and patch that sucker.
