Ever wanted an ipod with a longer battery life, better sound quality and a zippier user interface? I know I have and so did tarkan from tarkan.info. That is why he decided to open up his 5G iPod and outfit it with a compact flash drive. The hardest part of this project is undoubtedly preparing the conversion board for the ide interface. Nonetheless, the final product is great.

	Something doesn't seem right about this. I remember seeing a guide on how to do this on older iPods and the circuit was much bigger. I even saw a few videos where the guy stated the 5G iPods had a very different pinout then the older 4G iPods. All i'm saying is I doubt it's a straight though connection. Need a video for proof. Registered
