Job Openings : Game Makers At Apple |

 Big-O noticed a game developers opening at Apple (req.
# 3094432), so I took a closer look. Doing a search for "game" on the Apple jobs website came up with 7 matches, not all about gaming though. They have a standing SW applications internship that includes gaming, but from there it gets more interesting.
One of the positions is for the manager of the AppleTV Sr. Systems Designs Engineer, while it doesn't mention gaming, it does say that Apple is considering experience with gaming consoles when looking for AppleTV Engineers (req.
# 3098041). The other finds during the search point to a QA for iPod games & a Software Lead/Manager for the iPod (req #
3312260 &
3401155).
Apple is also looking for
Graphics Performance Technical Lead and
GPGPU Development Engineer, both of which are looking for game scripting experience. While this does not lead to any hard evidence of games made for anything other than the iPod or testing games on hardware, it is some handy info to keep in the back of your mind if we start seeing any other game rumors start circulating.
