All new Macs by end of 2008

green_my_apple.jpgIf you have any questions about when a new mac product is going to come out, I have a blanket answer for you.  Unless you are talking about the Mac Book Air, every product is going to have some redesign by the end of THIS YEAR.  Okay, maybe the redesign might be on the inside, but every Mac product is slated for at least one more update, except for the Mac Book Air.

How do I know this?  Did I get Steve drunk and he leaked info?  No, but I would buy him a drink if he asked.

I know this because Apple said they were going to.  Not in a big flashy way, but in a straight forward way.  From the Apple website, "Apple plans to completely eliminate the use of PVC and BFRs in its products by the end of 2008". If the MacBook Air was the first of Apple's greener products, and they plan on keeping their promise/goal (released on March 2nd of this year), they'll have to update every other product to non PVC/BFR compliance.

Me, I'm really hoping for the for the Mini Xserver with the Atom chip.

I just want a little bit more power and a little bit smaller form factor. But I would sacrifice the smaller form factor for a Graphics card.

I know 10 reasons why it won't happen, but it's my dream damn it.

whats the point? Why not just use a mini? I don't see the need for a mini server anyway. Never have... !U xserves are perfect for datacenters, regardless of what macminicolo.net says!

Mini XServe would be incredibly cool. I'd buy one so my Mini could have a buddy. Aside from the fact it would be incredibly cool in tiny form factor.
