PC Mag : Leopard is best OS |
|
Tuesday, 11 March 2008 |
Almost every Mac user thinks Leopard is better than Windows (XP or Vista). Now there is some interesting evidence to support it. No it's not Guy Kawasaki or Steve Jobs' reality distortion field (unless it's bigger than reported). It's PC Mag. Yes, PC Mag. Not MacWorld, not MacTech, a PC magazine has declared Leopard (10.5.1) to beat out Windows XP, Windows Vista and Ubuntu.
When judged on 8 criteria, with a possible total score of 40, Leopard (10.5.1) got 33.5, xP (SP2) got 28.5, Vista (pre-SP1) got 28.5, and Ubuntu (7.10) got 27. PC Mag then goes to say rag the Mac users slightly, saying that if you are an artist or musician and you use anything but a Mac you will be laughed at. They also don't suggest it for the average worker, web surfer or photographer.
So wait guys. The Mac OS wins under your "mythical" user, but in real life you say only Hollywood and Artist should use a Mac?
