Here's a cool mod that got burried by some papers on my desk. This one is very cool, and I think that we'll see something like this come out now that the iPhone SDK is out.
TUAW post the "how to" make your iPhone send you messages about the nearest cell phone tower, and have it translated to real world longitude/latitude via Google Maps. While this is great for security of knowing where your iPhone is, as a parent this is really cool to know where your son or daughter's iPhone is.
KID : I was at John's house all night!
DAD : Really? He moved downtown now?
