Lifesize Hummer Remote Control |
|
Wednesday, 19 March 2008 |
While I think most modders don't have this in their budget, Dr James Brighton from Cranfield University does. He took an actual H3 Hummer and converted it to a real life remote controled car. He says it took about a month to comlete, but he now has the ability to drive his Hummer without having to actually get into it.
Thought this was cool for modders for some inspiration, but what I really think is cool is what it could mena on a bigger scale. Imagine if all cars could be remote controlled to go to the gas station. How sweet would that be? Or if it was raining, and your car came to pick you up at the front door.
What a wonderful world that would be.
Thanks to Anthony for sending this one in via autobloggreen.com.
