Steve Jobs, Evil Genius

wired-apple.jpg    While this is not a mod, it is an interesting analysis on Apple and specifically Steve Jobs.  Wired went in search of how Apple was able to defy all common rules of Silicon Valley and become a major player in the technology and design industry.

    For example, through secrecy and a very tight lipped crew, Apple was able to devote three years to the development of the iPhone without anyone knowing much about it.  Secrecy was the key to keeping the iPhone and iPod on top.  While the iPod had imitators from everywhere (i.e. Zune 2.0 with touch enabled navigation), Apple was able to jump ahead of them because they had already planned the next product, the iPod Touch.

read that one yesterday also. I think both have good points. I just find it funny that Steve J. would park in a handy cap spot and that people have gone as far as leaving notes on HIS car. 
 
Can't be that mean of a boss if your employees feel comfortable enough to make fun of him in front of everyone. And you'd think that Steve would have a super-secret parking spot.
