openserv_2400_48494adf99c94.jpgHave you every wanted to get an xserve setup , but really couldn't afford it?  Well now is your chance to have Mac OS X serving up all those files.  Psystar has just announced the release of their rack mount servers dubbed OpenServ .  Each of the OpenServ servers come in a 1U or 2U chassis and are fairly configurable, supporting one or two quad core xeons, 4-16GB RAM, and Your choice of SATA HD for the 4 onboard drive caddies.  Psystar also offers a wide range of OS options including Mac OS X Server which is very pricey for unlimited clients ($1025).  Might I recommend another flavor of unix... say, Centos 5.1 (which Psystar even recommends).
