Today, Codeweavers, Inc. announced new iTunes support in version 4 of their popular Linux application, CrossOver Office. This new support allows users to natively run iTunes under Linux, giving users access to the iTunes Music Store and sync with an iPod. With this advance in Linux support it really appears that Apple is starting to become more and more main stream everyday. If
the user also installs Rendezvous support, available at the Apple Developer's Connection, they may also be able to browse shared music on other systems.

"Version 4.0 addresses the strong desire of our loyal users for iTunes
support," said Jeremy White, CEO of CodeWeavers. "iTunes has been our
number one, most requested application. We remain confident that by the
end of 2005, the majority of Windows applications will be supported by CrossOver Office. Until then, we're pleased to be able to bring iTunes
to Linux users through Version 4.0."

CrossOver Office Standard
is available for $39.95, which includes 6 months of support, and the
Professional version is available for $74.95 with educational discounts
available. Of course, because this is an Open Source product, you can
