Now that the newer generations of iPods can hold so much more space, many owners of older iPods are considering broadening their horizons. After all, we need over ten thousand songs on our iPod. Perhaps it's time to consider buying one of those new fancy, colored movie iPods? My 2nd Gen is looking mighty old! Well, maybe there are other ways. Command-Tab has posted an excellent article on upgrading the hard drive on virtually every iPod released, including a hard drive compatibility list. This is definitely a must see for those considering dumping their older model because of its limited space. With iPod battery replacement programs from companies like FastMac , why throw your trusty companion to the birds?
