apple_tv.pngJust a couple days after its release, it has been done.  The cheapest mac ever to run Mac OS X has been released from Apple.  Well, maybe not technically since there is quite a bit of hacking required, but, nonetheless, you can buy a new system that runs Mac OS X for 299.

The Apple TV only comes with 256 MB of RAM, so its not really that desirable.  However, it has a great video card and with some nice hacks to Mac OS X, we could see some killer applications or interfaces for the system.
